Fear to Faith

Yesterday, I woke up to my business Instagram deleted. I silently stewed over it all day until my anxiety hit hardcore last night. I stress ate, was pacing the room... Luckily I have good friends who helped me out. I unleashed the crazy, stressed out Marlisa at Walmart, but somehow made it out alive, because my friends kept me sane. Whew! Life hack: Get good friends.

So anyways, while dealing with my Instagram fiasco, I've been freaking out, because I am headed to Zion's National Park for camping and hiking. This week will be the hottest. Averaging at a nice 110 degrees. In fact, there is an "Excessive Heat Warning" so you know, it's a good week to hike with limited water sources. I'm not feeling to hot about all of this. I'm nervous that I'll get dehydrated and sick. If you know me, then you know that I hate headaches/migraines. They are no bueno. I literally would rather suffer through other things then those. Fear. I seemed to be drowning in fear.

This morning, I got up bright and early and went for a walk. I felt this overwhelming sense of peace and excitement. Things were going to work out. I just needed to remind myself that I am a daughter of God who deeply loves me. He looks out for me. I don't have to drown in fear. I can be faithful and believe in God. I have my angels whom I call upon each day to assist me on my mortal journey. Today I brave the heat with my friends and enjoy my mini getaway. I have always loved southern Utah and it holds a special place in my heart. I will immerse myself in the beauty of God's creation, disconnected from the world. I will be deeply connected to my God, my Savior, my angels, and my friends. I am allowing peace, love, and faith fill me up.

It's not the worst.

Haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate...

...yeah I know, you probably have the song stuck in your head. So with that, I say...werk werk werk werk!

Your emails are fun to read. I love the haters, because they make me laugh. Sorry haters, but when you're rude, I find joy out of it, because it's ridiculous. The fact that you would take so much time in telling me your opinions with choice words, really motivates me to continue forward and writing more. So suck it! :)

That aside, I had someone ask me how my debt-free journey was doing. And gosh! I suck at telling you guys, but here's why. I haven't really progressed at it. I was unemployed for 2 months, so naturally, I didn't spend money. That simple. And yet it was so hard. But now I'm a grown up and have a full-time job, so now my financial goals can start off again with a BANG! So there's that. More to come--obviously!

Also, you've been requesting another "Personal Credence" and "Becoming" posts and they are a comin'! I've been taking my time on each of them, because I'm still processing--so if you'll excuse me for being frank...HOLD YOUR HORSES! But on the real though, the "Becoming" post will be posted on Friday, so HALLE-FREAKIN'-LUJAH!

I'm tired, I'm going to bed. Love you all and tomorrow's post will here before you know it. Byeeeee!
P.S. I clearly understand that this is a lame post and I'm super sorry. But these posts make the other one's seem great, so it's not the worst.

Money, Money, Money, Mo-ney...MONEY!

If you sang the title and thought of "The Apprentice" then I automatically think you're cool.

Finances have been on my mind lately and that is what this year is alllllll about! Getting. Out. Of. Debt. Thank you to family and friends who have helped me start this year off with a bang! And shout out to the one and only DAVE RAMSEY! If ever given the opportunity to shake his hand, I would easily jump on that! He has been such an inspiration and motivator for me and my family. I've been listening to his radio program and following him on social media. It's so comforting to know that there are other people out there who are taking care of their debt. I can't wait until the day when I can call Dave's radio program and yell "I'M DEBT FREE!"

Getting out of debt is something that has become so important to me. However, it requires a lot of commitment, energy, and sacrifice. Three things that...well yeah, I could do better in. I know it will be worth it, because living a debt-free life means that I am no longer tied down. It offers a lot of freedom.

I've been budgeting and living on a strict 'cash only'  basis. It's hard. So hard. But I know it will be worth it. I know that this is only temporary.

I'll be documenting my journey right here on this blog. If you'd like to share your experience, go ahead and shoot me an email or comment below. It's always so motivating to hear other peoples stories.

Here we go!
